Dealer / Reseller Terms & Conditions

Dealership Requirements

Retail dealers must maintain a storefront for retail sales and must maintain regular business hours.
Dealers must carry, display, and sell Trailer‑Tug product inventory to qualify as an active dealer.
Online Dealers must have Trailer‑Tug products listed on their company website and online store.

Insurance Requirements

Dealers shall carry general liability insurance.
Proof of insurance must be sent to Trailer‑Tug by the dealer’s insurance agent.

Pricing and MSRP / MAP Policy

Trailer‑Tug sets a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for all its products. The MSRP for each product can be found on the Trailer‑Tug price list or by contact.
Pricing for Trailer‑Tug products is subject to change without notice.

Territories & Exclusivities

Trailer‑Tug does not regularly grant exclusive territories or protected territories to retailers.
Exceptions may be made at the sole discretion of Trailer‑Tug.
Any additional sales outlets beyond approved dealers must be approved by Trailer‑Tug.

Internet / Online Sales

All internet sales of Trailer‑Tug products are allowed only at the discretion of Trailer‑Tug.
Auction sales of Trailer‑Tug products are prohibited, except when authorized.
Dealers selling online must display all required products and logos per Trailer‑Tug specifications.

Payment Methods (Dealer Orders)

Trailer‑Tug accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal, and Wire Transfers for dealer / wholesale orders.

Drop Shipments

Drop ship orders incur a handling charge of 15% over wholesale price.
Drop shipments will be sent on the dealer’s shipping account unless otherwise agreed.
Trailer‑Tug is not responsible for shipping or freight charges related to drop shipments unless otherwise agreed.
Customer concerns other than defects are handled by the dealer.

Shipping & Freight (Dealer Orders)

Trailer‑Tug ships via FedEx Ground for small orders, and common carriers for large orders. Other options may be available.
Damage claims must be filed by dealer directly with carrier.
Ownership transfers to dealer upon delivery to shipper (carrier).

Back Orders

Trailer‑Tug will not hold backorders; availability is confirmed per dealer request.

Warranty Policy (Dealer)

Limited lifetime manufacturer’s warranty applies to the original purchaser. Dealers must ensure warranty registration is completed within 30 days. Defective products must be returned via Trailer‑Tug instructions.

Dealer Obligations & Restrictions

Dealer must comply with all above requirements: pricing, display, insurance, shipping, drop-ship, warranty, registration.
Deviations may result in termination of dealership status.
